Dance Blast 2011

Please join us for this season's open house/orientation for new and returning students, Monday, August 29, 5:00-7:30. Our Dance Blast consists of 15 minute segments of different classes for a variety of ages. Be ready to dance, have a great time, and maybe try something new! For returning students, bring a friend or two and receive a free Edgewater window decal. Feel free to come any time, but Dance Blast Schedule listed below:

  5:00-5:15 Kindersteps™ (Ages 3-4)               

  5:15-5:30 Pre-ballet/Tap (Grades K-1)

  5:30-5:45 Ballet/Tap/Jazz-HH (Grades 1-3)   

  5:45-6:00 Boy's Agility Jam (Grades 1-3)

  6:00-6:15 Hip Hop (Gr. 4-7), Modern (Gr.8+) 

  6:15-6:30 Modern (Gr.4-7), Hip Hop (Gr.8+)

  6:30-6:45 Yoga Kids (Grades 1-3)                   

  6:45-7:00 Yoga Kids (Grades 4-6)    

  6:30-7:15 Intermediate/Advanced classes in Ballet, Jazz, and Tap (Grades 8+)  

Parent Demonstration Days

Parents are invited to observe class during "Demonstration Days".  The currently scheduled "Demonstration Days" this year will be during the weeks of:
- Monday, December 12 - Friday, December 16, 2011

Holiday Dance Sharing

Each year, in the spirit of sharing, giving, and community service, it is our tradition to take dance classes on the road to visit retirement homes for the holiday season.  In previous years, classes have performed a holiday dance and visited with residents at Genesis Eldercare Retirement Home (175 Blueberry Lane, Laconia, NH).  Refreshments are provided by the dance school.  If you would like to contribute baked goods, you may send them with your students on the evening of the performance.  Details for this year's dance share will be forthcoming. This year's holiday sharing will be Tuesday, December 13, 2011.

Annual Year-End Perfomances (Recital)

All students in full season classes will perform in the annual year end performances.  Tickets to the performances are $10 each and will be available in April.  For more information on costume deposits, visit our pricing page.  This year, the dress rehearsal will be on Friday, May 18, and the performances will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
